The Lafourche Education Foundation—and in turn, the Louisiana King Cake Festival— aims to provide every child in our community with exceptional public education, emphasizing rigorous academics and diverse educational experiences.

We raise funds to support programs and positions not funded by the State of Louisiana, collaborating with schools and the community. Since 1997, we have been bridging funding gaps to ensure quality education for all children and seek ongoing community support for this mission.
